About Texas History:
Students will be able to identify the major eras in Texas history, starting with Natural Texas and its First People; uncover the Age of Contact that leads to the Spanish Colonial and Mexican National periods; discuss the significance of the Texas Revolution, Republic and the Early Statehood; Texas in the Civil War and Reconstruction; Cotton, Cattle, and Railroads; Age of Oil; Texas in the Great Depression and World War II; Civil Rights and Conservatism; and Contemporary Texas.

  • I have a zero tolerance policy with any form of cheating. Students caught cheating will receive a zero on the assignment and will be written up.
